Call for nominations for 'Vestergaard Frandsen Award' Nominations are invited for 'Vestergaard Frandsen Award' to be given to active researchers who are nationals of any SAARC member country working there and have contributed significantly in the fields of understanding the mechanism of insecticide resistance, vector bionomics and control. The award consists of a cash award of Rs (INR) 200,000 (Rs Two lakhs). The cost of travel and other expenses of the recipient and the medallion will be borne by Vestergaard Frandsen. Nominations in prescribed format (available at http://www.mrcindia.org/navbd/nomination.form.doc) may be sent at following address so as to reach by 26.5.2008. Self nominations are also accepted.
