2008 Vestergaard Frandsen Award goes to Dr Jambulingam

NAVBD's 'Vestergaard Frandsen Award' for the year 2008 was conferred to Dr P Jambulingam of Vector Control Research Centre, Pondicherry. The award comprised a memento and a cheque of Rs two lakh. The accolade was presented by Prof NK Ganguly, ex-DG of ICMR at an award ceremony held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 24 August 2008. Dr Jambulingam was bestowed with this honour, in recognition of his distinguished work in the field of vector resistance and vector control.
