Information about IDVC (Integrated Disease Vector Control) Project under National Institute of Malaria Research (ICMR), Sector -8, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110077.

  1. Recruitment Rules specifying the qualification and experience for various posts depends on the post concerned (Annexure 1 at ‘A’).

  1. Rules on pay Structure and allowance including dearness allowance, HRA, Transport Allowance and NPAwere similar to Central Govt. employees till 31.12.1995.  There were some changes after implementation on Vth Pay Commission Recommendations (ICMR Circular attached Annexure II).

  1. Different posts are classified under Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ & ‘D’.  For example the post of Asstt. Research Scientist comes under Group ‘B’ as per DOPT Notification No. 13012/98 Estt.(D) dated 22.06.1998 (Annexure III).

  1. Leave Rules are applicable as per CCS (Leave Rules) 1972.

  1. Conduct Rules are application as per CCS (Conduct) Rules 1964.

  1. Discipline Rules are applicable as per CCS(CCA) Rules.

  1. Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) is applicable to those IDVC employees who have been appointed on or before 31.12.2003 and are in running pay scales.  Rules regarding CPF are followed as per ICMR/Govt. of India Rules of CPF.

  1. Rules on Special concession and allowances admissible to the employees posted to north-eastern region are applicable as per Govt. of India Rules (Copy of DOPT Rules attached Annexure IV).

  1. Traveling Allowance Rules are under consideration.

  1. Staff appointed on graded scales of pay are governed by CCS(Medical Attendance) Rules 1948.  However, staff appointed on consolidated pay are not given this benefit.

  1. Rules on other service matters as framed and amended from time to time by the Competent Authority in respect of Projects (Annexure I).
